No season we experience is out of the control of God... Whatever you are walking through in this season of your life may have you wondering what exactly His plan may be for you. How could this be good? Will I make it through this? What do I do now? Behold Him.

Join us for our annual retreat on November 8th through 9th. We will be joined by Caitlin Shumaker as she leads us through Ecclesiastes 3, reminding us how to Behold our God throughout every season this life may bring. We will also be led musically by Emma Haylett of Cedarville University's Heartsong.

Retreat Speaker - Caitlin Shumaker
Caitlin is a Springfield native who attended Shawnee High School and Wittenberg University to study Communications and play volleyball. Caitlin married her high school sweetheart, Jordan, and they spent their college and early married years serving faithfully at Southgate before moving to the Vandalia area for Jordan’s job. They now attend Butler Community Church, where Jordan serves as an Elder, Caitlin helps with the operation’s team, and together they lead a small group for young adults.
While being a great stay-at-home momma to her four kids, Caitlin also stays busy coaching volleyball, creating content for Dayton Women in the Word, and seeing God’s goodness on display in sunrises and sunsets. She also enjoys watercolor painting and hosting a women’s Bible study at the turquoise table in her front yard with neighbors and friends every summer.
Caitlin’s favorite Bible verses are:
Psalm 61:2- “When my heart is overwhelmed, lead me to the rock that is greater than I.”
Colossians 3:23- “Whatever you do, work at it with all your hear as working for the Lord, not man.”
