Opportunities in the Church

  • H.E.A.R.T.S. (Hands Eager and Ready to Serve)
    Wednesday afternoon and evening outreach ministry showing God's love to the community AWANA chuldren through one-on-one help with school work and life skills.

  • Nursery
    Serve our children (birth–age two) during services on Sunday and Wednesday.

  • Sunday School and Children's Church
    Serve our children (age three–sixth grade) as a teacher.

  • AWANA
    Serve our children (age four–sixth grade) on Wednesday evenings from 6:40–8:15 p.m.

  • Church Closet Ministry
    Donate gently used clothes from your family.

Opportunities in the Community

  • Urban Light Ministries (424 S. Fountain Ave., 937-328-0122)
    Mission: Serving God by serving children and families, feeding of the hungry, and meeting other unmet needs.

    Ways to serve:
    • Sunshine Clubs — after school children's ministry that offers the Gospel.
    • Sunshine Saturday — extension of Sunshine Clubs that meets Saturday mornings at Urban Light.
    • Adopt-A-Block — help neighbors by assisting with life, building relationships, praying for them, giving gifts of need, visiting them once a week.
    • Help with computer classes.
    • Medical Ministry — need volunteer nurses and doctors.
    • Food Pantry — donations and help to distribute food Wednesday and Friday 9 a.m.–2 p.m.
